Romahurmuziy Reminds PPP Cadres To Compactly Win Ganjar-Mahfud And Legislative Chairs

JAKARTA - Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Advisory Council Muhammad Romahurmuziy or Rommy asked his cadres to be united. All must win pair number three Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD and try to get legislative seats at various levels.

This was conveyed by Rommy in response to the declaration of support from PPP cadres calling themselves PPP fighters to Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair number two on Thursday, December 28 yesterday.

"All functionaries and party leadership structures at all levels starting from the DPP, DPW, DPC, PAC and Ratting PPP as well as PPP candidates throughout Indonesia remain upright in securing party decisions in the inauguration of Ganjar-Mahfud in the 2024 presidential election," said Rommy in a written statement, Friday, December 29.

Rommy asked all cadres not to be influenced by the massive propaganda. Everyone must focus and be united in achieving the target in the 2024 General Election.

"I ask PPP cadres to remain united, and concentrate as hard as they can to get as many legislative seats as possible at all levels," he said.

"There is no need to be influenced by bombing propaganda of various surveys because PPP wants to win the election, not win the survey," continued Rommy.

On that occasion, Rommy also asked the Acting Chairperson of PPP M. Mardiono to impose sanctions on cadres who support the number two pair in the 2024 presidential election to be sanctioned. Moreover, they did not coordinate first.

For cadres, continued Rommy, the sanctions can be in the form of warnings to dismissal. Meanwhile, for legislative candidates, they may not have the blessing to be inaugurated even if elected.

"If the person concerned is a legislative candidate, then the PPP DPP Advisory Council recommends that he not be inaugurated even if he is elected in the 2024 Legislative Election," he concluded.
