South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Ary Indradi said that on the eve of the 2024 new year celebration, his party would deploy 998 joint members consisting of police personnel, the TNI and the ranks of the South Jakarta City Administration Government (South Jakarta City Government), to maintain security and smoothness. According to him, hundreds of these personnel will be deployed in eight security posts and two service posts prepared in the South Jakarta area. "There are also funds from the TNI and from the ranks of the City Government," said Kombes Ade, confirmed, Thursday, December 28. He revealed that in the operation of securing Christmas and New Year, his party is in synergy with the City Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimko) and all stakeholders continue to strive to improve coordination, cooperation, and collaboration to secure South Jakarta.

"We also ask for support from the community. Because without community support, the roles of RT, RW and community leaders are also very important," he said. Ade said the level of vulnerability in the South Jakarta area is quite low, so there are no significant vulnerable points during the New Year celebrations. However, security measures are still applied to maintain public security and ensure that the New Year celebrations run smoothly. "There are no vulnerable points," he said.
