JAKARTA - Two teenagers with sickles were arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TPPP) during a brawl in the Glodok area, Tamansari District, West Jakarta, Wednesday, December 27, early in the morning. However, the two perpetrators were arrested in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta.

"The sickle-type sharp weapons were confiscated, they wanted to fight in the Glodok area, Tamansari," said West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta, AKBP M Hari Agung Julianto when confirmed, Wednesday, December 27.

When the police found out about the brawl, the two perpetrators fled towards the North Jakarta area. Both of them were also successfully secured on Jalan Muara Baru, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.

"The sickle was found during a search," he said.

AKBP M Hari said, to anticipate cases of brawls, it is necessary for parents to play a role in supervising and educating their children. Do not let children get involved in behavior that violates the law that harms themselves, parents and their own families.

"We appeal to parents, especially during the long holiday at this time, to be more serious in supervising their sons, give them an understanding of the legal risks if they violate the rule of law so they don't let the children come home until late at night," he said.

In addition, AKBP M Hari added, limit activities outside the house and do not let the children come home late at night.
