Dozens Of Houses In Tangsel Were Flooded, 4 Cars Were Hit By Falling Trees Due To Heavy Rain Accompanied By Strong Winds

TANGERANG - Rain accompanied by wind hit the South Tangerang (Tangsel) area causing flooding on a number of roads. In the Setu area, the flood reached 65 centimeters.

The platoon commander of the Tangsel City Disaster Management Task Force, Dian Wiryawan, said the height from 20 to 65 centimeters. In the area, as many as 40 houses were affected by the flood.

"The nature is still inundation. Because the water flows and recedes quickly," said Dian when confirmed, Wednesday, December 27.

In addition, four cars in Cilenggang, Serpong, South Tangerang were hit by fallen trees. Two cars were reported to have suffered serious damage. Luckily there were no injuries or fatalities.

"2 cars were damaged," he said briefly.

In addition to floods and fallen trees, landslides occurred in the Villa Bintang Mas housing estate, Keranggan. The height of the landslide reaches about 2 meters.

"Material avalanches fell to vacant land. So no buildings were affected," he concluded.
