JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, said that the dozens of land mafia suspects who were arrested were a group that often took action in Jakarta by seizing the land rights and buildings of their victims. Fadil said that the arrest of this land mafia group proved that the Police were serious about eradicating their existence. This crime has claimed many victims, including the families of the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dino Patti Djalal. "We are sending a message that this team will work seriously and will resolve the land mafia case that occurred in DKI Jakarta", he said.

The police have arrested dozens of suspects in the land mafia case with the family victim Dino Patti Djalal. The dozens of suspects were arrested based on three police reports. "From the disclosure of these three police reports, there are 15 suspects who can be arrested. Each prison has 5 suspects", he said. Of the dozens of suspects, they have different roles. One of them is an intellectual actor in a land mafia case. "In carrying out their actions, these land mafia groups share roles. Some act as intellectual actors, some act as parties who prepare facilities and infrastructure", he said.
