Anies Often Hears Concerns About Elections: Will It Be Honest?

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan admits that he often hears public concerns about holding the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"We found complaints in various places, found concerns in various places, will the election be held honestly? Will the election be held fairly?" Anies said in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 27.

This was conveyed by Anies at the declaration of support for the Islamic Student Association (KB HMI) for Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) in Jakarta.

According to Anies, this concern has never occurred in the previous election.

Therefore, Anies invited activists and students to participate in supervising the 2024 election contestation, and appealed to the younger generation to exercise their voting rights.

"Yesterday I conveyed to young people who are still skeptical, here's the message, if the voting rights are not used, the decision will be made based on users of voting rights," he said.
