West Sumatra-Riau Road Section Total Breaks, 3 Heavy Equipment BPBD Still Struggles To Overcome Landslide Materials

SUMBAR - Jalan Lintas Sumatra (Jalinsum) in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) towards Riau dipole 17, Pangkalan Koto Baru District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, totaled.

Floods and landslides occurred at several points in Pangkalan Koto Baru District on Tuesday morning at around 06.00 WIB, including in Nagari Pangkalan, precisely in Jorong Sopang and Jorong Pauh Anok with water levels as high as the chest.

Floods also occurred in Nagari Gunung Malintang, which also made roads impassable.

The disaster cut off the West Sumatra-Riau road to be precise in Kelok 17 so that the road could not be passed by two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles.
