JAKARTA - Young people are expected to play a role in welcoming democratic parties in the midst of a demographic bonus. Therefore, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo encouraged youth to vote in the 2024 General Election.

"We at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which also oversees the field of youth, must continue to encourage this young generation to be educated and later hopefully they can vote in the 2024 General Election," said Menpora Dito in the Young program to choose to collaborate with the Perspective Adu at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Jakarta, Friday, December 22.

The demographic bonus, according to Menpora Dito, needs to be greeted openly and wisely. So that young people can become the main characters, where their roles and voices can determine the future of the nation.

In order to achieve this, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has previously conducted a series of discussion forums to attract young voters in the 2024 General Election. Not only that, there must be socialization that feels relevant to the character of young voters.

"Hopefully with the existing ideas we can build this nation to be even better. Of course we hope that young voters will use their voting rights at the polling station later," he concluded.
