Anies Optimistic Gus Imin Will Luwes Talk About Ideas During The Vice Presidential Debate

Presidential candidate (candidate) number 1 Anies Baswedan believes Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin can convey ideas during the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) debate organized by the General Election Commission (KPU) on Friday (22/12).

"This debate cannot be memorized, therefore we are very optimistic that Gus Imin will be present to show his thoughts, ideas, ways of thinking, ways of communicating," Anies said in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 19.

Anies said that he and Cak Imin are preparing what will be conveyed during the debate, so that it can be understood by the Indonesian people what is the vision and mission and the idea of the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1.

Anies believes Cak Imin can convey ideas during the debate later, considering that from a young age he has interacted with political problems in this country.

"This debate or ride conveys what is in his mind, what is already in him, it cannot be prepared like a theater stage that is memorized," he said.

Anies believes that after the second debate, the public will be more confident in choosing the AMIN pair who carries the change.

"God willing, it will make the Indonesian people more confident that the AMIN pair, God willing, willing, will be an equal partner in many ways," he said.
