Prabowo: If Someone Is Defaming, It's Just Praying For Us

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto, received support from the Young Islamic Generation Causcus (Gemuis) volunteers at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, at the same time promised to carry out various work programs if a mandate was given to lead the country.

"I received a declaration of support from the Young Islamic Movement, from youth groups of mosque youth throughout Indonesia. This is really encouraging for me, this really gives me great enthusiasm and encouragement," Prabowo said in his remarks as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 18.

The chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP stated that he understood the aspirations and hopes of the community and was grateful for the support given by Gemuis to him.

"I understand hope, I understand the strength of youth mosques throughout Indonesia and the Young Islamic Movement throughout Indonesia. I am grateful," he said.

Through the rhyme he said at the declaration event, he also asked that anyone who tries to slander and vilify should be rewarded with a good prayer, not in the same way.

"Life is harmonious with neighbors, every day you have to greet each other. If someone slanders and vilifies us, let's just pray," said Prabowo.

In addition, he also explained about the potential prosperity that will be felt by the community if various Indonesian resources are managed independently.
