JAKARTA - Although he has been named a suspect, RH alias RD is still being treated for 58 percent burns. RD has been named a suspect because he was proven to have burned his father-in-law's house on Jalan Rawa Melati, RT 04/01, Tegal Alur Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

As a result of RD's actions, the owner of the house with the initials S (70) and RD's father-in-law died of fire.

The results of the police investigation revealed that RD's motive for burning his father-in-law's house was because he did not want to be divorced by his wife.

"The motive for the arson was because RD did not accept that his wife would be sued for divorce. Until the perpetrator was desperate and set fire to the house with the intention of ending life together," said Kalideres Police Chief, Kompol Abdul Jana when confirmed, Friday, December 15.

RH alias RD is the husband of the victim RI alias RY (41). As a result of RH's actions, his wife also suffered burns. Meanwhile, the mother-in-law with the initials S (70) died in the fire incident.

"In the fire incident, the father-in-law of the perpetrator with the initials S (70) died from serious burns," he said.

Meanwhile, RI alias RY, the perpetrator's wife, received 45 percent burns. Now the perpetrator and the victim are undergoing intensive treatment at Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta.
