Viral Teenager In Tabanan Bali Allegedly Arrested By Robbers, Rp7 Million In Cash At Home Taken Away

A viral video of a teenage woman with the initials NP (17) is suspected of being held captive by robbers in Peken Belayu Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Police are still investigating this incident.

Head of Public Relations of the Tabanan Police, Iptu Gusti Made Besa, said that this incident occurred on Tuesday, December 12 at noon at the Banjar Dinas Umabian.

"The modus operandi was that the perpetrator smothered the victim's child with a cloth and tied the hands of the victim's child with a yellow scarf. (The perpetrator) then took the victim's money which was stored in the cupboard of the house and took the Oppo cellphone," said Iptu Besa, Wednesday, December 13.

The robbery was only discovered when the owner of the house and his wife returned home after selling on Tuesday, December 12 at noon. The victim immediately looked for his son but was not found.

Inside the house, the wardrobe is open and the money saved is IDR 7 million.

The victim asked neighbors for help looking for his daughter. It turned out that his daughter was bound in a bound state and her head was covered in cloth behind the house.

"Finally, the victim and her family released the child's bond, after which they reported the incident to the nearest police station," he said.
