KTT Regency Government Disburses IDR 30 Billion, Replaces Puspem Land Loss

TANA TIDUNG - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Tana Tidung, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) through the Public Works and Public Housing (DPUPR) has paid for part of growing crops and buildings on land for the construction of the Tana Tidung government center (Puspem) covering an area of 400.42 hectares (ha).

This compensation answers the anxiety of people who have grown crops and buildings.

Head of the PUPR Service, Tana Tidung Hadi Aryanto, revealed that the compensation was for handling the social impact of land provision for Puspem Tana Tidung whose construction had begun.

"The payment is paid in stages, for phase I is paid this year. The rest will be paid next year (2024)," said Hadi, Monday, December 11.

For this year, continued Hadi, the Regency Government has budgeted funds of around Rp. 17.8 billion for 148 plots of land with growing crops and buildings.

"Then, the rest will be paid in 2024, which will vary according to the administrative calculation with the total budget prepared by the Tana Tidung Regency Government for this compensation of around Rp. 30 billion," said Hadi.

Meanwhile, Regent Tana Tidung Ibrahim Ali emphasized that the provision of compensation that has been distributed by the Regency Government is the right solution for growing plant owners and buildings on the puspem land.

"Hopefully this will not become a kind of thought again, this is purely a form of seriousness of the Tana Tidung Regency Government in resolving the social impact of the community affected by the construction of puspem," said Ibrahim Ali.

He admitted that the payment was late because he was still waiting for the legal basis for the disbursement process.

"So we have to be careful because the payment made is public money and there are things that must be accounted for and thank God this has all been completed," he said.

Ibrahim said, if there are still parties who are not satisfied, they can be submitted directly to the complaint team, or the team (integrated team).
