SEMARANG - Police investigated the vandalism by distributing dozens of cars parked in the yard of the KPU Semarang City Office, Pandanaran Semarang Building, Central Java.

Central Semarang Police Chief Kompol Indra Romantika in Semarang, Sunday, said that the destruction by an unknown person against about 11 cars was reported on Saturday (9/12).

According to him, the cars that were damaged did not all belong to the KPU, but also belonged to several other agencies which also had the same office as a building with the election organizers.

Some of the cars that were damaged, he said, belonged to members of the KPU Semarang City.

"The parked car was left by the owner who was in a meeting outside the city," he said.

The other owners, he said, were still being investigated because on Saturday (9/12) the office was off.

According to him, the police have responded to the report by conducting TKP processing and checking CCTV footage around the location.
