Thousands Of Police Secure Christmas Tiberias Church Indonesia At GBK Main Stadium

JAKARTA - The Tiberias Indonesia Church will hold a Christmas service at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta, Saturday night. A total of 1,140 police personnel were deployed to secure these activities.

"There are 1,140 personnel deployed," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to VOI, Saturday, December 9.

Thousands of personnel are joint deployments from Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Central Jakarta.

On the other hand, the police appealed to the public to avoid traffic flow around the Gelora Bung Karno area, Central Jakarta, today. Because, there are activities that involve many people so that it has the potential to cause congestion.

"We convey to the public to avoid surrounding Gelora Bung Karno considering that there are so many community activities," said Head of Ops Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Dermawan Karosekali.

The activity in question is the 'BONGKAR' People's Stage. Where, the event shows the National Oration to music concerts at the GBK Intermediate Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) will be held a Christmas event with the Tiberias Congregation.

Meanwhile, events in the Gelora Bung Karno area start from 13.00 to 22.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, people who want to come to the event are also advised to use public transportation. The reason is because of the limited parking facilities.

"And we convey to the Tiberias Congregation that will hold Christmas at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium to use public transportation modes or motorbikes. Considering the parking facilities for parking around GBK are very, very limited," said Karosekali.
