REJANG LEBONG - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, said 11 houses in North Curup District were damaged by a tornado.
"There has been a tornado that hit residential areas in Pahlawan Village, Perbo Village, and Tunas Harapan Village, North Curup District, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, around 12.20 WIB," said Head of BPBD Rejang Lebong Shalahuddin as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 6.
The tornado damaged 11 houses in three different locations, then damaged one village head office and gas station.
The houses of residents and the village head office as well as gas stations, he said, were damaged on the roof with heavy and moderate categories, but none of the buildings collapsed.

"Alhamdulillah, there were no casualties, for losses we are currently collecting data," he said.
