Gerindra Faction Member Of DKI DPRD Purwanto Dies

JAKARTA - Gerindra faction member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Purwanto, died today at 20.05 WIB. This was confirmed by the chairman of the Gerindra faction, Nurhasan.

"Inalilahi wainailaihi rojiun, a Gerindra cadre H. Purwanto, Chairman of the South Jakarta DPC/Member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD today," said Nurhasan in his statement, Tuesday, December 5.

Purwanto died at Mitra Keluarga Hospital while undergoing treatment due to a heart attack he suffered.

Tonight, Purwanto is buried at the funeral home, Jalan Lenteng Agung Timur, Srengseng Sawah Village, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta.

Nurhasan remembers the figure of his party's first relative. According to him, Purwanto is a friendly and kind person to anyone.

"He is a good person, a tough fighter, good to anyone, friendly, easy to talk to, he speaks to," said Nurhasan.

Purwanto was born in Jakarta, February 15, 1974. This graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia is married to Sri Hastuti and has two children.

In addition to sitting in the DKI parliament, Purwanto is also the Secretary General of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Betawi Children's Communication Forum (Forkabi), as well as the DKI Jakarta DKI Expert Council.
