Campaign In Balikpapan, Ganjar Ensures Disabilities Can Ease Of Access To Education

BALIKPAPAN - presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo ensures the ease of access to education for all people with disabilities in Indonesia.

This was conveyed by Ganjar during a visit and had a dialogue at the Training House of the Branch Management Board of the Movement for the Welfare of Tuna Rungu Indonesia Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Tuesday, December 5.

There, Ganjar received input regarding the equality of people with disabilities in obtaining easy access to education, business training, capital and public facilities that are friendly to them.

Not only that, they also entrusted their mandate to Ganjar so that later they could implement disability-friendly programs that could touch the regions, not only in urban areas.

Umar Fauzan, a visually impaired person, said the importance of easy access to education for persons with disabilities. He hopes that the ease of access can be felt throughout Indonesia.

"What policy do you apply to provide access to people's education like us and can also be felt in the regions, not only in cities," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo said that the desire of persons with disabilities should be accommodated and implemented. Actually, there are rules already, it's just a matter of how to implement them.

"It turned out that their request was very simple. Our opportunity and access to education was improved, the opportunity to work with the percentage of civil servants in the government and in the company. The rules are only there and the controls are," said Ganjar.

The white-haired politician told how to prioritize people with disabilities, women and children when preparing a development program while still serving as Governor of Central Java.

"I had experience when the musrenbang involved them and became the first group to express opinions," he explained.

The presidential candidate paired with Mahfud Md. it added that disability-friendly programs must be implemented evenly.

"There are already rules. It's just a matter of implementing it and the controls must be good," he said.
