AGO Confiscates Porsche Car Belonging To Suspect Alleged Corruption Of Bakti Kominfo Edward Hutahaean

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) confiscated a luxury sedan-type car belonging to Edward Hutahaean, a suspect in the alleged corruption case of the BTS 4G Kominfo project. Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Ketut Sumedana said the luxury car was a 911 Carera S 3.0 L Porsche-type sedan. "Vehicles were confiscated from SMR as the wife of suspect EH (Edward Hutahaean)," said Ketut in his statement, Friday, December 1, confiscated by Antara. According to him, the luxury car was purchased by Edward in August 2023 at a Porsche car showroom in the South Jakarta area. "The price of the car is estimated at approximately Rp. 3 billion," he said.

Kendaraan mewah tersebut, kata Ketut, dibeli atas nama PT LTD.Ketut menyebut penyitaan yang dilakukan penyidik memiliki alasan kuat atas dugaan penggunaan uang hasil kejahatan yang diperoleh dari tersangka Gelumbang Menak Simanjuntak (GMS) dalam bentuk dollar Amerika Serikat."Kemudian uang USD tersebut ditukar di penukaran uang untuk membeli mobil Porsche milik tersangka NPWH (Naek Parulian Washington) alias EH," kata Ketut.Ketut menambahkan, bahwa aset yang dilakukan penyitaan tersebut berkaitan dengan perkara dugaan tindak pidana korupsi dalam penyediaan infrastruktur Base Transceiver Station (BTS) 4G dan infrastruktur pendukung paket 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 BAKTI Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Tahun 2020 s/d 2022.

The red sedan was confiscated and brought by investigators to the Jampidsus Roundabout Building. In addition, Edward Hutahaean was also named a suspect on Friday (13/10). In the trial of the BTS Kominfo case at the Central Jakarta District Court Corruption Court in early October 2023, the name Edward Hutahaean was mentioned by the defendant Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak, as President Director of PT Mora Telematika. Galbang said Edward asked for 2 million US dollars in connection with securing the alleged corruption case of BTS 4G BAKTI Kominfo.
