JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep said his party would work hard to qualify for Senayan in the 2024 election because the Charta Politica survey stated that PSI's electability was still 0.9 percent.

"We are still working hard, just look at the 2024 General Election," said Kaesang when met after receiving the declaration of Sedulur Kaesang Jokowi in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 1.

On the other hand, Kaesang admitted that PSI has many granaries in various regions. "East Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, Bali, Jakarta, Tapanuli (North Sumatra), Lampung, East Java, Central Java, Banten, West Java," explained Kaesang.

Kaesang admitted that his party still needs to work to attract votes in other areas. However, due to the lack of time leading up to voting day, Kaesang said PSI would focus on only a few provinces.

"It's just us, because the time is tight, we just focus on some provinces. Yesterday we also ran out of Papua. Thank God we were well received," he said.

The Charta Politica Indonesia survey for the period 26 31 October 2023 states that PSI's electability in the Legislative Anggita Election (Pileg) contestation is at 0.9 percent. With numbers, PSI is in 11th position out of 17 political parties participating in the 2024 General Election which were included in the survey.

In the survey, the PDI-P became the party with the highest electability, namely 26.3 percent. Followed by the Gerindra Party and the Golkar Party in second and third positions, respectively with 17.8 percent and 8.1 percent.

The survey entitled Post-Decision Electoral Map of the Constitutional Court and Registration of Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates was conducted through face-to-face interviews using a structured questionnaire.

The number of samples in the survey in question is 2,400 respondents, spread across 38 provinces. The methodology used is a multistage random sampling method with a FIRE limit (margin of error) of 2.0 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
