Bawaslu Reminds The Nominal Of 2024 Election Campaign Materials A Maximum Of IDR 100 Thousand Per Item

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Lampung reminded participants of the 2024 General Election regarding the nominal use of campaign materials per item of no more than IDR 100,000.

"The campaign materials can also be in the form of clothes, head coverings, drinking utensils or meals with a record value of no more than Rp. 100,000 per item if verified in money," said Lampung Province Bawaslu Violation Management Coordinator Tamri, in Bandarlampung, Thursday, November 30

In addition, 2024 election participants are strictly prohibited from giving money or goods other than campaign materials such as leaflets, brochures, pamphlets, posters, as well as stickers, calendars, business cards, pins, to stationery.

"Ection participants are not limited to the maximum number of campaign materials. However, the distribution of basic necessities such as rice, sugar, and others should not be allowed in the election participant campaign," he said.

Then, Tamri also appealed to election participants to pay attention to the size of the campaign props (APK) and the installation location because this has also been regulated in the KPU regulations.

"The installation and size of the APK have been arranged separately, the goal is for the campaign to take place in an orderly manner," he said.

Tamri also mentioned that places prohibited from installing materials or APKs are places of worship, health facilities, educational institutions, government buildings, protocol roads, and expressways.

"APKs should also not be installed in public areas such as parks or pasted on trees. This is because they consider or for reasons of security, aesthetics, and environmental problems," he said.
