KPPS Officer Registration Opened December 11

The General Elections Commission (KPU) will open a registration schedule for the Vote Organizing Group (KPPS) for the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) on December 11, 2023.

"We announce the formation (KPPS) on December 11, the recruitment process," said member of the Parsadaan Harahap KPU as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 29.

Meanwhile, he continued, the determination of KPPS officers will be carried out on January 24, 2024 and will continue with the inauguration on January 25, 2024.

Parsadaan explained that his party would apply the age limit rules for recruiting KPPS officers.

"We give the maximum age limit of 55 years, maximum yes, but we have to give the same opportunity to all citizens who meet the requirements from the age of 17 to 55 years," said Parsadaan.

According to him, the application of this age limit is to prevent the recurrence of cases of the death of KPPS officers, such as in the 2019 General Election.
