Perdana Campaign In Sidoarjo, Muhaimin Had Time To Play Football

SIDOARJO - Candidate for Vice President Muhaimin Iskandar took the time to play football together with a number of Persebaya Legend players on the Wedoro soccer field, Waru, Sidoarjo, East Java.

This soccer activity is one of the series carried out by Muhaimin starting the first day of the campaign which took place in a number of areas in East Java such as Mojokerto, Sidoarjo and also Surabaya.

"I am very happy to be able to meet old idols, Persebaya's parallels and legends. Almost all of our teams are national team players, former Persebaya has retired. They are football figures in East Java who are idolized by football lovers," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 28.

He wants all retirement football figures to get respect, government and state awards have an obligation to provide protection and assistance services to former football athletes.

"What to do, because they play a maximum of 4 years, after that, where do they go. One of them is insurance for football players," he said.

During the match, Muhaimin had received two penalties. However, only one penalty kick was successfully used to produce goals.

"I was nervous, the first one was failing. That's why there's no need to be afraid of an important opponent, the referee is fair," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the PKB DPP Jazilul Fawaid said that in East Java, his party has a minimum target of 60 percent for votes.

"It takes extra hard effort. However, we are sure we can achieve it. Namely with the support of the unity or ukhuwah of the people in East Java," he said.

He is optimistic that the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the Change Coalition of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (Amin) are able to become separate magnets to attract all strengths.

"Not only students. But also all circles," he said.
