JAKARTA - The General Election Commission of DKI Jakarta Province provides transfer services on motorized vehicle free days (HBKB) Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Sunday (26/11).
"We picked up the ball on Sunday so that residents who are busy daily have the opportunity to apply for a transfer form to choose," said Head of the DKI Jakarta KPU Socialization, Education and Community Participation Division, Astri Megatari, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.
This activity is an effort to maximize services for residents who want to move to choose DKI Jakarta, but have not had time to take care of the transfer form because they are busy on weekdays.
Later the activity will be carried out in order to socialize the 2024 Simultaneous Elections and to intensify the socialization of voter education to the public in the HBKB area.
It is planned that the activity will start at 06.00 to 09.00 WIB next to the Mandarin Hotel Orental Jakarta.
The transfer service chooses to be intended for voters who are already registered in the final voter list (DPT) at polling stations (TPS), which because of certain circumstances, voters cannot use their rights to vote on registered locations.
