During the firefight, two members of the NTT Mobile Brigade Unit DC Task Force were shot. Bharatu Rani Yohanes Seran was shot in the left thigh and is currently still being treated intensively.

Meanwhile, Bharada Bonifasius Java alias Boy died when he was shot in the right back.

The former South Central Timor Police Chief (TTS) said the body would arrive at El Tari airport at 06.00 WITA local time.

"Arriving in Kupang, the bodies will be buried first at the Mako Sat Brimob Polda NTT," he said.

After several hours of being buried at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, at 10.00 WITA, the body was then dispatched to his hometown in Soa, Bajawa, Ngada Regency.
