BOGOR - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin responded to the many complaints from the Bogor community regarding the chaos on Jalan Parungpanjang because large trucks were often crossed to the potential for accidents.

Bey Machmudin said, in suppressing the volume of large vehicles passing on Jalan Parungpanjang, his party will apply a special schedule for large trucks that are only allowed to pass on the route, at 22.00-05.00 WIB.

"So it has been agreed, (big trucks can only pass) from 22.00 to 05.00 WIB. After that it should not be here," said Bey Machmudin.

Not only implementing a special schedule, Bey Machmudin emphasized that large trucks are also prohibited from parking outside the agreed time.

"Parks are not allowed here. Residents complain that sometimes they steal the start, at 5 or 6 pm, they come here to park. It's also annoying. Please pay close attention," he said.

Bey Machmudin also asked people who saw a large truck passing on Jalan Parungpanjang not according to the agreed schedule to report it to officers in the field.

He also invited the media crew to report if they found large trucks passing outside the schedule.

"Friends (media) also help us. If someone violates, please report it. I will coordinate with the Regent, Kadishub, Kadishub, Kapolres and Pak Dandim," said Bey Machmudin.

"I have also coordinated with the Pangdam and the Kapolda. The TNI and Polri also supervise in the field," he continued.

Regarding the rampant cases of illegal levies that occurred on Jalan Parung Panjang, Bey said he would deploy the West Java Province Illegal Sweeping Task Force (Satgas Saber Pungli).

He emphasized that he would act quickly if there was evidence of extortion in the area to be followed up immediately.

"We have the Saber Extortion Task Force. So please send us the evidence, later the team will move quickly. There is the Chief of Police, Mr. Dandim will immediately follow up," he said.
