Not Awkward! Sandiaga Uno Orders Lontong Sayur By GrabFood, COD In The Office Lobby

JAKARTA - For a minister, ordering food through an Ojek online (Ojol) application may not be a common practice. However, this behavior does not apply to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno.

Today, the bureaucrat who is often referred to by netizens as 'Papa online' is showing off his online commercial activities on Ojol via Instagram social media.

Uniquely, one of the four photos he uploaded displays an application screen in the form of a detailed ordering of lontong sayur for IDR 20,000 with a delivery request to the lobby of the Ministry of Tourism on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta.

In his caption, Sandi said that this was a form of support for domestic business actors.

"This morning I ordered lonsay, aka lontong sayur, by the GrabFood application as a token of appreciation for Grab Indonesia for continuing to support the National Proud National Movement (Gernas BBI)", he said at @sandiuno on Monday, February 15.

According to him, the class 4.0 transportation service company has actively contributed to the government-run program.

"(Grab Indonesia plays a role), especially the activities carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, namely Buy Local Creative in 2020 and Buy Creative Lake Toba this year", he said.

Sandi also expressed his support for Grab which is considered to have helped empower the lower class of society to actively participate in productive efforts.

"We congratulate the launch of the Grab Accelerator program as a form of implementation of Gernas BBI", he said.

"The Grab Accelerator batch 2 program can be said to be different because it takes an extraordinary approach by including the elderly, ex. prisoners, and people with disabilities to join", he said.

It is hoped that this synergy between the government and the private sector can be an example for other business actors and encourage each individual to participate in economic development.

"Through the Grab Accelerator batch 2 program, Kemenparekraf together with Grab wants to support the improvement of human resource competencies and increase the competitiveness of MSME products, become part of the fast-growing digital economy, and become a solution in creating the widest possible job opportunities", he concluded.
