Apart From Firli Bahuri, Polda Metro Jaya Does Not Need Information From Other KPK Leaders

Polda Metro Jaya stated that there was no head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), apart from Firli Bahuri, who was scheduled to provide information in the alleged extortion case of the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Firli is known to be scheduled to undergo examination today. However, he did not attend on the grounds that he had to provide information at the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas). "While not yet (other KPK leaders will be examined)," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters, Tuesday, November 14. However, it was not explained further about the possibility that other KPK leaders would also be investigated in an effort to find a suspect. Ade only said that 94 witnesses and experts had been questioned as of Monday, November 13. "The examination of 86 witnesses and 8 experts has been carried out," he said Regarding the examination of Firli, investigators are said to be still coordinating with the KPK Legal Bureau. The goal is to determine the time for the request for information against the chairman of the KPK. "We are still waiting from the head of the Indonesian KPK legal bureau regarding the request for rescheduling," said Ade. Firli was originally absent from today's examination schedule. He wrote to investigators to reschedule.

In addition, in the same letter, Firli also asked for the examination process to be carried out at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit. Meanwhile, in this case, it is suspected that there was a criminal act that occurred, namely, Article 12 letter e, Article 12 letter B and or Article 11 of the Corruption Crime Law Junto Article 65 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
