JAKARTA - The creative and cultural sector ecosystem of NUANU covering an area of 44 hectares in Tabanan, Bali is present as a breakthrough in a sustainable creative city. This innovative effort focuses on fostering the creative and incubation community while encouraging dynamic collaboration between communities, art actors, culture, creative businesses, and social entrepreneurship.

Commitment to empowering the creative sector and local artists is the core of NUANU's mission.

"Although we are currently still in the early stages, our efforts to contribute to the creative community have begun to look in shape. The programs and initiatives we have presented so far may still be on a small scale, but they marked the birth of a larger movement within NUANU," said Sergey Solonin, founder of NUANU, in his statement, Monday 6 November.

Sergey added that in the near future, NUANU will carry out comprehensive creative and cultural initiatives that are expected to be able to contribute significantly to both Bali and regional creative landscapes. These initiatives include various elements such as museums, galleries, exhibitions, and art installations.

"One of the most interesting initiatives in our plan is to integrate between technology and the art world, an effort that challenges imagination and innovation. It is planned that we will realize this initiative in the first quarter of 2024, along with the opening of The Tower of Bhuma," said Sergey Solonin.

Supporting existing cultural and creative initiatives and communities is at the heart of NUANU's approach. NUANU recognizes the importance of building creative spaces and provides opportunities for local artists and talents to develop. NUANU has forged partnerships with local musicians in fact, facilitating collaboration with many artists in various fields such as digital communications, content creation, and exhibitions.

"Previously we have worked with the talented Bali illustrator, Monez, to present the Voice Festival. NUANU is also determined to encourage new and experimental ideas in the creative sector. For this reason, recently we initiated an open call and offered grant programs to artists and creative sector players to develop their works," said Rafael Jimenez, NUANU's Head of Brand-Movement Communications.

This program is designed flexibly, in order to be able to encourage and create innovative works that contribute to the development of the creative economy.
