Witnesses Claimed That They Did Not Know Emirsyah Satar Regarding The Purchase Of A House In Pondok Indah

JAKARTA - Three witnesses, each Dwiningsih Haryanti Putri, Erna Indrastuti and Istiningdiah Sugianto alias Iis Sugianto said they did not know and had never met Emirsyah Satar. This was revealed in the follow-up hearing of former President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Emirsyah Satar, regarding the sale and purchase of a house between Emirsyah Satar's in-laws, Mia Suhodo, and Istiningdiah Sugianto.

During the trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, last weekend, three witnesses were present, each Dwiningsih Haryanti Putri, a property sales agent related to the purchase of a house on Jalan Pinang Merah II Blok SK Persil 7 and 8, Pondok Pinang; Erna Indrastuti alias Erna Priyono, the notary / PPAT who made the sale and purchase deed; and Istiningdiah Sugianto alias Iis Sugianto, the owner of the house on Jalan Pinang Merah II Blok SK Persil 7 and 8, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta.

Witness Dwiningsih Haryanti Putri as a property sales agent stated that she did not know Emirsyah Satar but knew Mia Suhodo as the buyer of Istiningdiah Sugianto's house on Jalan Pinang Merah II Blok SK Persil 7 and 8, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta. While Sandrina Abubakar, she knows is Mia Suhodo's son, who had seen the house before being bought by Mia Suhodo.

Furthermore, Dwiningsih explained that he knew Mia Suhodo around September 2011 when Mia Suhodo wanted to find a house around Pondok Indah. After seeing about 10 houses, finally Mia Suhodo was interested in buying houses on Jalan Pinang Merah II Blok SK Persil 7 and 8, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta, owned by Iis Sugianto.

The purchase of the house finally occurred after Mia Suhodo and Iis Sugianto agreed on the sale and purchase price of IDR 8.5 billion in November 2011, and the transaction was carried out in cash. The witness admitted that he received a fee of 2.5 percent of the purchase price or around Rp160 million.

Meanwhile, witness Istiningdiah Sugianto also did not know Emirsyah Satar, because when the house sale was made, he only met Mia Suhodo and Sandrina Abubakar. Istiningdiah Sugianto explained that home purchases are made in cash and are carried out in four stages of payment, some of which use checks.

"Mia Suhodo once told me that there is no need to worry about payment because the house purchase will be made in cash, because she just sold her house in Permata Hijau," said Istiningdiah in a statement received on Sunday, March 1.

Meanwhile, witness Erna Indrastuti as a notary / PPAT said that she knew Mia Suhodo because Dwi Haryanti (a property agent) asked for services to make a sale and purchase certificate for a house in Pondok Indah which was purchased by Mia Suhodo. Erna explained that those present in the signing of the sale and purchase certificate were Mia Suhodo and Iis Sugianto, while Emirsyah Satar had never participated in the buying and selling process of the house.

Furthermore, Erna explained that the payment of BPHTB and PNBP taxes as well as notary fees related to the sale and purchase of the house had been paid.

Emirsyah Satar in the trial revealed that the purchase of the house which was located at Jalan Pinang Merah II Blok SK Persil 7 and 8, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta was a house purchase made by his in-laws. He admitted that he had never participated in the process of buying the house.

When the house was purchased, it was turned over to be in the name of the in-laws and when the in-laws died, the house was passed on to the children.
