Netrality Becomes A Discussion During Jokowi's Lunch With 3 Presidential Candidates, Ganjar: If There Is No Neutrality, It Will Be Heavy Next To You

JAKARTA - The issue of government neutrality and state officials during the election is one that was discussed during a lunch between President Joko Widodo and the three presidential candidates (candidates) at the State Palace today.

Gajar Pranowo's presidential candidate views Jokowi's neutral attitude as head of state and his government needs to be emphasized because this is important in carrying out the democratic process.

"Yes, (netrality) is important, lah. Democracy, if there is no neutrality, it will become very partial, it will definitely be one-sided," said Ganjar at the Presidential Palace complex, Monday, October 30.

Ganjar explained, during eating lunch together, Jokowi was committed to supporting a good democratic system, namely by supporting the neutrality of the government to the authorities.

"Hopefully what he said, God willing, will be carried out. Our task to protect together this election is peaceful, the apparatus is really implicit, everything can run fairly, and we can take care of each other," explained Ganjar.

Anies also mentioned the neutrality in the activity. Anies admitted that he had aspirations from the people he met to order Jokowi. Anies asked Jokowi to maintain his neutrality as head of state in the implementation of the 2024 General Election.

"We often meet many people who love the president. Those who love this message to the president can maintain neutrality, and emphasize to all officers to maintain neutrality in the presidential election, elections," said Anies.

Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan compactly wore long-sleeved machete batik when receiving an invitation to eat with Jokowi. Batik Prabowo and Anies are dominantly brown, while Ganjar is red.

Batik machetes come from Java, especially the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Solo. The batik was made by batik craftsmen in the area and became popular in the 19th century.

Launching the Kemendikbudristek page, the motif of machete batik has a philosophical meaning of message never giving up. Meanwhile, continuity in the motive of machetes provides a philosophy of a struggle that never breaks.

Jokowi serves various foods to be eaten by prospective presidential candidates who will compete in the 2024 General Election. Among them are white rice, soto lamongan, chicken chicken, black pepper cow, roast duck, fried squid, salted egg fried shrimp, kaylan cah cow, ice laksamana went berserk, and orange juice.
