Ganjar Says 3 Vice Presidential Candidates Will Meet Ma'ruf Amin Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin is rumored to be inviting three candidates for vice president (cawapres), namely Mahfud MD, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin to meet.

This meeting follows the activities of President Joko Widodo who invited potential presidential candidates, namely Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, and Anies Baswedan to have lunch together at the Merdeka Palace today.

"If I'm not mistaken, tomorrow there will be an invitation for the vice president to meet with the vice president. Later let it be regulated," said Ganjar after eating with Jokowi at the Palace, Jakarta, Monday, October 30.

Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan compactly wore long-sleeved machete batik when receiving an invitation to eat with Jokowi. Batik Prabowo and Anies are dominantly brown, while Ganjar is red.

Batik machetes come from Java, especially the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Solo. The batik was made by batik craftsmen in the area and became popular in the 19th century.

Launching the Kemendikbudristek page, the motif of machete batik has a philosophical meaning of message never giving up. Meanwhile, continuity in the motive of machetes provides a philosophy of a struggle that never breaks.

Jokowi serves various foods to be eaten by prospective presidential candidates who will compete in the 2024 General Election. Among them are white rice, soto lamongan, chicken chicken, black pepper cow, roast duck, fried squid, salted egg fried shrimp, kaylan cah cow, ice laksamana went berserk, and orange juice.

The General Elections Commission (KPU) has received registrations for three pairs of candidates for presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2024 General Election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The Anies-Cak Imin pair was promoted by the NasDem Party, PKB, PKS and the Ummat Party. Meanwhile, the Ganjar-Mahfud pair were promoted by PDIP, PPP, Perindo and Hanura.
