Support Komnas HAM Examining Polri About Maaher's Death, Ferdinand: All Opening Up His Illness To Let Kadrun Slap Himself

JAKARTA - Former Democrat Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean was furious at the many speculations about the death of Soni Eranata alias Ustaz Maheer At-Thuwailibi.

According to him, the police had carried out a good procedure of treating prisoners to treatment when Maaher complained of illness.

The information about Maaher's torture at the Police detention center was a rumor that was deliberately blown to divide the nation.

Ferdinand also supported Komnas HAM's move to summon the National Police to be questioned about Maaher's death. To finish, the mysterious illness that Almahrum suffered from was opened.

"I am happy and support if Komnas HAM wants to investigate Maaher's death in detention. But my message is that Komnas HAM should announce what illness Maaher suffered so that the public knows the truth and Qadrun slaps himself in the face," tweeted Ferdinand on his blue bird account, @ Ferdinandhaean3.

Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) Choirul Anam said that his party would ask the police for information regarding the death of Ustaz Maaher At-Thuwailibi at the Bareskrim Polri detention center.

"We will ask the police for information regarding the cause of death (Ustaz Maaher, red)," said Choirul when contacted by reporters, Tuesday, February 9.

He said the request for information would be made in the near future. This is because the death of a prisoner in a detention center as experienced by Ustaz Maaher is a concern for Komnas HAM.

"The death of a detainee needs in-depth information. Even though the police have said he died sick, it is important to know what kind of pain he was and how the pain took place in the prison and until he died," he said.
