After Bunga Sorry, The Lantis Is Ready To Steal Listeners' Hearts Through The Rindu Threshold

JAKARTA - Successfully with the 'Bunga Sorry' released last year, The Lantis again greeted Indonesian music lovers by introducing a new single entitled 'Ambang Rindu' which was launched today, Friday, April 25.

Similar to many previous works, The Lantis consists of Giri (vocals, bass), Ravi (vocals, guitars), and Ojan (guitar) carries the theme of unspoken generation, a generation that feels often forgotten or lonely between the dominance of Baby Boomers and Millennials.

Ambang Rindu tries to lift the hidden things that many people feel, but rarely discussed. The lyrics themselves tell about the inner turmoil of a person whose heart is still bound in the past. This song illustrates how we often ignore the conscience that is actually the most honest, which ultimately burdens our own minds.

"Nothing is perfect, and it's okay. Life is about learning more confidently, it can be clarified slowly. It's okay if you're confused, I've also been there," said Giri, explaining the meaning of The Lantis' latest single.

"This 'Lowing Ambang' is about the conscience that we often keep quiet, even though he is the most honest," he continued.

Still maintaining the retro-pop feel, the 'Ambang Rindu' was also inspired by legendary musicians such as Chrisye and Dewa 19. This song also presents an unusual lyric structure, different from most of the general pop songs.

Which makes it even more unique, this song was created spontaneously, in just one hour, showing strong chemistry between personnel, so that the creative process feels so natural and flowing.

In this song, The Lantis invites collaborators in writing and composition of songs, namely Krisna Trias and Giant Prayashmenda.
