TANGERANG - A 17-month-old baby was caught in a water channel while bathing at his house on Jalan Kemuning Tiga, Pamulang, South Tangerang. Luckily there was a firefighter who helped remove the baby's leg.

Aunt baby, Latifah said the incident occurred on Monday night, October 23. The incident began when the baby was being bathed by her mother. Allegedly careless, the baby's feet entered the channel hole.

The baby continues to cry. Meanwhile, the mother who was beside the baby began to panic, asking family members who were at home for help.

"Then we went to the bathroom. Finally, his grandfather wanted to be picked up himself earlier. I said I didn't have to. Because the heel must have bloomed like this. In the end, I immediately called the firefighters," said Latifah when met at her house, Monday, October 23, evening.

After the Damkar was contacted, Latifah continued, the evacuation process was carried out. Meanwhile, the mother is always beside the toddler, so as not to be afraid when taking action.

"The same mother is held. Keep crying too, we also can't change it, just the same mother that makes her (the baby) comfortable," he said.

In the evacuation process, the firefighters did not experience any difficulties. However, the process continues to be dramatic, because there must be caution to remove the baby's leg.

"There are no problems. There are few scratches in his condition. But Alhamdulillah, he's healthy and laughing again," he concluded.
