Anies Baswedan - Muhaimin Iskandar Will Undergo Health Checks For 8-10 Hours

JAKARTA - The pair for presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar will undergo a medical examination at the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) for 8-10 hours.

"The examination will be carried out for 8 to 10 hours and depending on the examination later," said Head of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital Lt. Gen. Budi Sulistya during a press conference in Jakarta, Saturday, October 21.

He said the principle of examination was carried out in a professional, independent, and trustworthy manner.

"In principle, the inspection is carried out in accordance with the routine stages that we carry out," he said.

Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari said Anies-Muhaimin's health examination was the first to be carried out on pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

According to him, the pair Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar were the first pairs to register with the KPU and get their first chance for this examination.

"The results of this examination are outside the authority of the KPU and the RSPAD will issue results and determine whether to pass (or not) from this medical examination," he said.
