Police In Makassar Who Had Sex With Their Boyfriend Repeatedly Threatened To Be Fired

Bripda Fauzan alias Bripda FA (23) is threatened with being fired for violating the code of ethics related to the rape case of a ex-girlfriend with the initials M in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"So there is no rape there. The basis is that they have been in a relationship since 2015. Then the relationship took a long time, a husband and wife relationship occurred, (like it)," said the Head of Profession and Security (Propam) of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes Zulham, quoted between.

From the results of the examination and the results of the investigation, the FA had sexual relations like husband and wife with female M five times during high school.

The two of them were dating and then the relationship continued until the person concerned underwent police education. It was recorded that they had sex eight times at that time.

Information that developed the victim cut ties with the person concerned. It is suspected that the victim felt pressured because he continued to be disturbed, until finally reporting the incident to his parents and then reported it to the police, the news quickly spreads allegations of sexual harassment to coercion in sexual relations.

Responding to this information, the South Sulawesi Police Propam Division acted quickly by investigating, including summoning the person concerned for questioning. The results of the FA examination were deemed proven to have committed a violation and then strict action was taken by imposing severe sanctions on him.

"We are making law enforcement efforts according to applicable regulations. We apply Article 13 paragraph 1 of the Police Regulation (PP) paragraph 1 of 2003 concerning the Dismissal of Police Members, which reads that Polri members can be dishonorably dismissed from the Indonesian Police Office for violating the oath and promises of Polri members to violate the code of ethics," said Zulham.

In addition, the person concerned is considered to have violated Article 5 paragraph 1 PP number 7 of 2022 concerning Institutional Ethics, it is stated that every Police official is obliged to maintain the image, solidity, credibility, reputation, and honor of the Police.

Then article 8 letters C Number 1 and 2 concerning PP number 7 of 2022 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics. Furthermore, article 13 of PP number 7 of 2022, that every Polri official in personality ethics is prohibited from committing adultery and or infidelity.

"So we will apply four articles to our members with the initials FA. Rest assured, we will process anyone involved and those who make violations will be processed," he said.

Zulham said that members of the National Police who commit violations according to the orders of the National Police Chief and the Regional Police Chief will be dealt with firmly without negligence, indiscriminately anyone who violates will be dealt with firmly in accordance with applicable regulations.

Meanwhile, the current status of the FA has been dealt with and detained at a special placement of the South Sulawesi Regional Police. The detention was carried out for one month, but less than a month, said Zulham, an ethics trial had been carried out. As for the criminal report, it is the domain of the General Criminal Unit of the South Sulawesi Police.

"We have secured it, because indeed his actions will (be afraid) that he will lose evidence. This is a form of act that was found guilty. There is a criminal report, but related to the fulfillment of elements it is the realm of Crime. What is certain is that the code of ethics and discipline is proven and we are processing it," he said.
