Lost Fertilizer Searcher In Cilacap Waters Found Lifeless

The joint SAR team evacuated the body of a merchant finder found in the waters of Lengkong, Cilacap Regency, Central Java (Central Java).

"The evacuation was carried out after we received information from potential SAR regarding the discovery of a body in the waters of Lengkong this morning," said Head of the Cilacap Basarnas Adah Sudarsa in Cilacap, Monday, October 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

Therefore, he said, his party immediately coordinated with related elements in the Lengkong area and then the joint SAR team evacuated the body at 09.30 WIB.

After being evacuated, the body was then taken to Cilacap Hospital for further identification.

"Based on the identification results, the body is known as Marto Miardi (61), a resident of Lengkong RT-02/RW-03, Mertasisnga Village, North Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency," he said.

Adah Sudarsa explained that the victim was a merchant finder who was reported missing around Bunton Beach, Bunton Village, Adipala District, Cilacap, on Monday, October 9 morning.

The victim, on behalf of Marto Mardi (61), is known to have gone to sea looking for a cult on Sunday, October 8, using his motorboat.

However, on Monday, October 9, at around 06.30 WIB, Marto Miardi's boat was found broken without any attached motor, while the whereabouts of the victim were not yet known.

According to Adah, the search for victims had been carried out but until Sunday, October 15, no SAR operations were found, so the search and rescue operation to find and help find tourists was closed.
