Biggest TPA In Bali Fires, Allegedly Due To Metan Gas

The fire broke out at the Suwung Final Disposal Site (TPA) in South Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Bali.

The Head of Public Relations of the Denpasar Police, AKP I Ketut Sukadi, said that the fire in Bali was due to piles of garbage and gas produced so that it could potentially emit a fire.

"The cause of the fire is estimated to be the heat of the piles of garbage and methane gas produced so that it has the potential to emit a fire," said AKP Sukadi, Thursday, October 12.

TPA Suwung, it is known that black smoke was scattered at around 11.00 WITA.

"Until now, five PMK units have been deployed to extinguish the fire, and currently efforts are still being cooled to overcome the fire, and until now officers are still trying to extinguish the fire," he said.
