Jokowi Doesn't Mention His Son's Name In A Volunteer Consolidation Speech In Bogor

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo did not mention the name of his youngest son, who is now the General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Kaesang Pangarep in his speech at the Ala-Alap Volunteer National Consolidation Meeting at SICC, Bogor Regency, West Java, Saturday, October 7.

In his speech, Jokowi greeted the volunteers and the person in charge of Jokowi's Alap-Alap Volunteers, Isnaini. From PSI, Jokowi only mentioned the names of members of the PSI DPP Board of Trustees Giring Ganesha. Apart from Giring, PSI Raja Juli DPP Secretary General Antoni was also present at the consolidation meeting.

"Present here too, Mas Giring," Jokowi said as quoted by Antara.

In the event, Kaesang, who came with his wife, Erina Gudono, arrived at 09.10 WIB or earlier than Jokowi. Kaesang, who wore PSI's red jacket, also seemed to serve one by one the requests of volunteers to take pictures together.

Meanwhile, Jokowi arrived and entered the event building at around 09.49 WIB.

Isnaini said the consolidation meeting was attended by around 16,000 people from 118 volunteer nodes from 93 cities and regencies. The event, which carries the theme "Taat Instruction-2024 What Jokowi Says", is the result of consolidation that has been carried out since May 2022.
