Bus Group Of Agam’s Official entered A Ravine in Madina West Sumatra, 2 People died

MEDAN - A tourist bus carrying a group of officials from Agam Regency, West Sumatra, entered a ravine in Lumban Pasir Julu Village, Mandailing Natal (Madina), North Sumatra.

"2 people died. There are 17 passengers with the driver. (In total) 15 people were injured", said the Head of Laka. Then, Mandailing Natal Police, Aiptu Sardi, Monday, February 8.

The two victims killed were a bus driver named David Chaniago and the Head of the Agam Regency Communication and Information Agency, Fuzan Hutasuhut

The accident occurred when the bus with police number BA 7015- OA drove from the direction of Penyambungan to Kotanopan. However, when he arrived at the scene of the incident, the bus driver was thought to have lacked concentration due to sleepiness.

The location of the incident is on the bridge. The driver is said to have seen the truck from the opposite direction approaching the bus. The driver then swerved to the left of the road and hit the iron fence until finally entered the ravine.

"(Allegedly) The cause of the accident was because the driver was sleepy", said Sardi.
