Kaesang Makes PSI DPP Building A Place For Young People To Hang Out: There Are Places To Play, Exercise And Eat

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep will make the PSI DPP Building a place for young people to hang out. "Our plan is for the PSI DPP office to become a forum for gathering young people. Later there will be a place to play, for sports, a place to eat as well," said Kaesang in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 4. The youngest son of President Joko Widodo said the strategy was carried out to attract the attention of the younger generation to be actively involved in the world of politics. Not only PSI members, according to Kaesang, all young people who are non-members can come to visit and relax while studying politics. "Later, let them feel the atmosphere of the political party. Just let them know, it's okay; as a place to study," he added. In addition, related to PSI's low electability, Kaesang and the party management have a strategy to boost the electability level ahead of the 2024 Simultaneous Election. One way is to visit regions in Indonesia and introduce PSI to the community. "What is certain is that with my bro sekjen we will always go back to Indonesia to introduce what PSI is, what is our ideology, so that they know PSI better," he said. Since being appointed as chairman of PSI, Kaesang has visited a number of areas, such as DKI Jakarta and Bali. PSI has also introduced itself to the Jokowi President Volunteer Barisan community (Bara JP) and the United Photographer community. On weekends, Kaesang is scheduled to visit a number of areas in Bandung, West Java. "For the exact location, we will announce it soon, but on the day of his visit if there is no change, yes, this Sunday," said Kaesang.

Until now, PSI noted that 13,267 people had joined since Kaesang was appointed general chairman. Kaesang also invited the community to join PSI if they wanted to do politics happily and move on from the old way, such as denouncing and demeaning others.
