After 5K Fun Walk N Run GBN 2023, Menpora Dito Proud YBI Also Promotes Healthy Life By Exercise

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo together with Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, officially released 5K Fun Walk n Run GBN 2023, Hold Batik Nusantara (GBN) 2023 at Senayan Park (Spark) Senayan, Jakarta.

Menpora Dito is proud and appreciates the Indonesian Batik Foundation (YBI) for contributing to promoting healthy living movements to the Indonesian people by exercising.

"Good morning, sports greetings. I as Menpora give high appreciation to GBN 2023 who chose to close it with a healthy road and run event," said Menpora Dito before flying the Flag Start, Sunday, August 6 morning.

According to Menpora Dito, this event means that the Indonesian Batik Foundation is also very concerned about promoting and mobilizing healthy living movements for all Indonesian people.

"Thank you to YBI for caring and helping to echo healthy living movements for the people of Indonesia. We'll see that the jersey is also a combination of running clothes with batik motifs," he added.

Menpora Dito juga mendorong tumbuhnya ekonomi kreatif melalui industri lokal agar nantinya dapat bekerja sama dengan lembaga terkait guna membuat produk jersey edisi khusus batik untuk sport walk n run.

"We can encourage this innovation and ideas to local sports products of Indonesian wear, to be able to make special editions of batik. That can also be collaborated with GBN and YBI, as part of the growth of the people's economy," he explained.

The youngest Menpora also advised the participants to be careful in participating in the walk n run competition to conclude the GBN 2023 event.

"Finally, all participants are careful on the road, let's start living a healthy life together with the Nusantara Batik Title," concluded Menpora Dito, who continued by participating on foot at the Fun Walk n Run 5K event.

5K Fun Walk n Run GBN 2023 was attended by 1,050 participants who loved road and ran. The route that was traversed was Start from Spark - Jl. Gerbang Pemuda - Jl. Asia Africa - Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Pintu Gelora 5 - Jl. Istora Senayan (JCC) - Jl. Gelora Bung Karno (Gate 10) - Finish Spark.

The title of Batik Nusantara (GBN) 2023, will be held on August 2-6. The event which took place at Senayan Park, Jakarta, carries the theme Batik, Bangkit!, as a form of enthusiasm to advance the Indonesian batik industry after three years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

GBN 2023 features more than 250 Indonesian batik, small and medium enterprise booths (MSMEs) and Indonesian culinary delights. In addition, various activities such as talk shows about batik, batik competitions, high tea sessions, and fashion shows also enlivened this event.
