3 Houses In Jagakarsa Burned Due To One Of The Residents Forget To Turn Off The Gas Stove

JAKARTA - Three houses on Jalan Damai, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, caught fire. The cause of the fire is suspected to be because one of the house owners forgot to turn off the gas stove while cooking water.

South Jakarta Gulkamat picket Officer, Imbang Satriana confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Sunday, September 24, at 02.58 WIB.

"It is true that there was a fire, the object that burned 3 houses. The reason was that the residents were cooking water to make drinking water, because they were negligent, the fire suddenly grew," said Satriana when confirmed, Sunday, September 24.

Satriana explained that the incident began when the occupants of the house were cooking their water. However, because of his negligence, he forgot to turn off the gas stove until the fire grew and burned his house.

"Because of negligence, the fire suddenly grew, local residents tried to extinguish it," he said.

In addition, residents also reported the fire incident to the Jagakarsa fire department. The goal is to speed up extinguishing the fire.

On that basis, 15 units and 65 personnel were deployed by the South Jakarta Damkar. As a result, the fire was successfully extinguished at 05.33 WIB.

"Starting to extinguish it at 03.06 WIB. Start cooling at 04.00 WIB, then declared finished at 05.33 WIB," he said.

Satriana confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss reached Rp350 million.

"Victim zero. Loss Rp350 million," he concluded.
