Man KKB Food Supply Leader Egianus Kogoya Arrested In Asmat Regency

PAPUA - A joint team consisting of the Cartenz Damai Ops Task Force and the Asmat Police Satpolair arrested food suppliers to the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya in Agats, Asmat Regency, South Papua.

Head of Damai Cartenz-2023 Operations Kombes Pol Faizal Ramadhani said the arrest of YT was made on Thursday, September 21.

YT is a supplier of food ingredients whose funds come from the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya.

"It is true that YT was arrested who was a KKB sympathizer and had a role in supplying foodstuffs to the Egianus Kogoya group," said Faizal, Friday, September 22, as quoted by Antara.

He explained, based on the YT examination, he claimed to work as a motorist speed in Asmat.

This arrest began when the Cartenz Peace Task Force team developed information that then followed YT when he entered Bank Papua Asmat. YT is known to want to take money from Egianus Kogoya.

Before being arrested, YT had made a withdrawal of Rp100 million at Bank Papua Asmat. The money was used to buy various foodstuffs to be brought according to Egianus Kogoya's request.

Currently YT is still being questioned by investigators at the Asmat Police.

Previously, personnel from the Cartenz Peace Task Force arrested T alias LD alias Altau (27), a member of the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya in Nabire on Tuesday 19 September.

Altau was involved in a number of shootings around Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains
