Moeldoko Affirms That There Is No Business With The Internal Conditions Of The Democrats

JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko emphasized that he has no business or interest with the internal conditions of the Democratic Party.

"I have nothing to do with it inside. I think that's all. So I'm just normal, ”said Moeldoko when giving a press statement in Jakarta, Wednesday, reported by Antara.

Moeldoko said that the rumors that he wanted to coup the leadership of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) in the Democratic Party were not true.

According to him, all parties have a statute / by-laws (AD / ART) in which there are regulations regarding the party's internal conditions.

"Don't do what it makes up for something. In my opinion, this seems like a joke. It's funny. Moeldoko wants a coup. What's the coup? " he said.

The former TNI commander said he always opened the door of communication to anyone, be it at his home or in other places.

"I'm confused too, I am a person who has coffee and coffee, how can it be so busy. Moreover, some are nervous again. What is this business. I just can coffee. Several times here, yes, it was extraordinary, I talked here and there, ”he said.

Moeldoko emphasized that as the Presidential Chief of Staff, he works professionally in carrying out his duties. He admitted that he never begged for any position.

Previously, the Chairman of the Democrat Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), said that there was an attempt to take over the leadership in his party that involved government officials.

According to AHY, the takeover of his party's top position is alleged to be carried out through an extraordinary congress (KLB) and will be a way to become a presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.
