Volunteers Police These Three People Regarding the Issue of Prabowo Slapping and Choking the Deputy Minister

JAKARTA- Volunteers of Prabowo Subianto or Prabowo Mania visited the Police Criminal Investigation Unit today. They intend to report three people suspected of spreading fake news or hoaxes about Prabowo slapping and strangling the Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan), Harvick Hasnul Qolbi.

"(Reporting about) fake news about Mr. Prabowo slapping and strangling him at the meeting (or) at a closed meeting at the palace," said the General Chairman of Prabowo Mania 08, Immanuel Ebenezer, to journalists, Thursday, September 21.

The three parties who will be reported are the editor-in-chief of Seword TV Alifurrahman; YouTube account owner Kanal Anak Bangsa TV Rudi S Kamri; and Ade Kurniawan.

The decision to report the case to the police certainly had many considerations. One of them was a statement that the party being reported had evidence that Prabowo had slapped and strangled Harvick Hasnul Qolbi.

"Moreover, this person said that they have evidence. Yes, we will test their evidence," he said.

In fact, said Immanuel, he had confirmed it directly to Harvick and emphasized that this had never happened. Even Prabowo also denied it.

"Mr. Prabowo also said that it didn't exist, then I called the person who was accused of being slapped, Mr. Harvick, and he also said that the incident didn't exist," said Immanuel.

Meanwhile, the issue of Prabowo slapping a deputy minister first circulated on social media. Even though he did not clearly mention a name, this suspicion points to the General Chairman of the Gerindra Party because this figure is said to be a minister who is a presidential candidate (capres).

Initially, this issue arose because of the crowd in a chat group. The netizen said that a member of the group asked about the issue of a minister choking and slapping a deputy minister before the meeting.

Another minister is said to have become aware of this incident and intervened between the two. Not only did he slap, but this minister was also said to have strangled him.

There are still rumors circulating, this incident started because the minister was angry that there was work that other ministers were not helping with. However, because the person he was going to talk to did not come, the minister vented his anger at the deputy minister who was present.
