In The Middle Of Umrah, Ganjar Gathers To The Residence Of Ulama Sayyid Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Maliki

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate (candidate) from the PDI-P (PDIP) Ganjar Pranowo visited Sayyid Ahmad bin Muhammad Al Maliki. Ganjar went directly to the residence of the cleric in Hay Al Rashifah, Mina City, Saudi Arabia, Thursday, September 14 local time.

The opportunity to stay in touch with the famous Saudi Arabian cleric was carried out by Ganjar while performing Umrah.

PDIP DPP chairman Said Abdullah said Ganjar was received with great attention by Sayyid Ahmad bin Muhammad Al Maliki.

"Mas Ganjar received a spiritual injection from Abuya Sayyid Ahmad. He was given a tausiah that really strengthened his heart, was given prayers, and important practices so that he was always istikamah doing good," Said said in his statement, Friday, September 15, quoted by Antara.

Sayyid Ahmad bin Muhammad Al Maliki is a great scholar whose students come from various countries, including the majority from Indonesia. Said hopes that Ganjar's friendship can strengthen his knowledge.

"We pray that the meeting can provide additional knowledge because he is famous as a scholar who firmly leads the panel of knowledge. We hope that Mas Ganjar's blessings can add a spiritual way for every thought and step of Mas Ganjar in the future," he said.

Sayyid Ahmad's father, Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi Al Maliki is a famous scholar in Saudi Arabia. A number of big books written by Sayyid Muhammad bin Alawi Al Maliki became references for Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) scholars.

More than 100 of his books are said to be important essays and books in teaching at Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

One example is the book Mafahim Yajibu An Tushahhah (understandings that must be straightened out). This book reviews aqidah which provides justification for the practices of NU pilgrims which in practice are widely practiced by the Wahhabi.

Then, there are books about interpretations, such as Zubdat Al-Itqan fi 'Ulum Al-Qur'an, Wa Huwa bi Al-Ufuq Al-'A'la, and Al-Qawa'id Al-Asasiyyah fi 'Ulum Al-Quran.
