Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy hinted that he would process the alleged plagiarization of the song Halo-Halo Bandung into a song called Hello Kuala Lumpur.

"Later, let it be processed, it is related to the copyright," said Muhadjir as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 13.

However, Muhadjir did not explain further the stage of processing the alleged plagiarization of the song Halo-Halo Bandung.

Muhadjir even admitted that he had never heard the song Hello Kuala Lumpur in person, which has recently become a hot topic of conversation among netizens.

"I haven't heard the song yet. Please send me the song," he said.

Previously, Ismail Marzuki's song Halo-Halo Bandung was " plagiarized" and changed to some of its lyrics.

In tone, the song uploaded on the Kanak TV Youtube channel is exactly like the song Halo-Halo Bandung. However, some of the lyrics have been changed. The song has been uploaded since 27 May 2020 or three years ago.
