Acting Governor of North Sumatra Hassanudin has started his duties with proactive steps. On his first day, the former Pangdam I/BB had gathered Regents/Mayors from all over North Sumatra and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the North Sumatra Provincial Government.

Hassanudin started his first day by leading a morning rally with ASN at the North Sumatra Governor's Office. Furthermore, he held a coordination meeting with echelon II and the North Sumatra BUMD Board of Directors.

Acting Governor of North Sumatra Hassanudin hopes to encourage all OPDs of the North Sumatra Provincial Government, BUMD Directors, and ASN to improve performance quickly. The goal is to make North Sumatra an example of success in improving people's welfare.

Hassanudin emphasized, "We must move in line with the policies of the President. Because the success of the past is not a guarantee of future success." He was accompanied by North Sumatra Provincial Secretary Arief S Trinugroho.

In the afternoon, Hassanudin also held a meeting with Regents/Mayors throughout North Sumatra in the Hall of King Inal Siregar. During the meeting, Hassanudin emphasized the importance of the cooperation between the Regent/Mayor in building North Sumatra.

"The province of North Sumatra is the result of cooperation from all regencies/cities. Therefore, if there is only one problem, then it can have an impact on all provinces, because this is the accumulation of data from districts/cities," said Hassanudin.

Not only the Acting Governor of North Sumatra, the Acting Chairperson of the North Sumatra PKK Dwianne Dessy also took the same steps. Hassanudin's wife chaired the meeting with the North Sumatra PKK and Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DPW), with the aim of aligning their duties in the organization without neglecting their main role as housewives. Dwianne Dessy explained, "We must harmonize our role in the organization with our duties as housewives, but continue to carry out our main duties as mothers without being disturbed.
